Christmas Celebration at the Don Bosco Institute of Philosophy With a profound sense of ecological consciousness, the Institute joined the train of the up surging Christmas mood as she organized her annual Christmas celebration on the 17th day of December, 2021. In her novel agenda of creating philosophical minds that is well integrated with the African culture, the modus operandi of this year’s Christmas celebration had a deeper African underpinnings and nuances as the students made their various carols in their distinct dialects and as the apothegm states, “unity in diversity”, these various cultural renditions were unified with the great Alleluia chorus magnified by the resounding voices of all students of the institute. The celebration was graced with the attendance of the Rector of the SS Louis Versiglia and Callistus Caravario community, Very Rev. Fr Charles Uzoeto who delivered the awe-filling Christmas message, the Vice Rector who is also the Dean of the Institute, Rev. Fr Dr Anthony Emeka Okonkwo, the Youth Director, Rev. Fr Cornelius Anyanwu and the special guest of honor, the newly-ordained Rev Fr Justin Oguocha. We hope for a blissful celebration this Christmas period and a very prosperous new year filled with joy and favour 2022.
